We are currently organizing an SEO seminar to take place in the King of Prussia, PA area (approximately 30 miles West of Philadelphia) in February 2005 (exact date(s) to be confirmed).
The SEO Seminar will be structured as follows:
Defining Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
‘Black-hat SEO’ Practices to Avoid
The Big Three Search Engines, and their unique nuances
The five key components of any SEO project
Selecting appropriate keywords, and common keyword selection mistakes
Initial Benchmarking
Demo sites – most people use product sites for demos, but we will use a ‘services’ site to show how SEO can help service companies too
On-page Optimization - this will be by far the largest section of the SEO Seminar, and will show you everything you can do to optimize your own web pages.
Off-page Optimization - this section will focus on creating quality inbound links to your site
To submit or not to submit?
Ongoing Tracking, Reporting, and Improvement
Top SEO Mistakes
There will be breaks as appropriate, and plenty of opportunities for networking and to 'pick our brains'. All attendees will receive a printed and bound copy of the full seminar presentation, along with additional appendices of resources not found anywhere else. One lucky attendee will also receive a free SEO consulting package!
We are currently determining whether this should be a short (three hours/half day) executive level seminar or an in-depth (full-day) technical seminar. If interest is high, we may do both, and we may do more than one seminar! Please let us know your interest level in these options when requesting full information.
We are also currently proposing some future seminars to be run throughout the year, including:
PPC advertising,
Website improvement, and
Submitting to Directories.
Please contact us for more information about any of these upcoming events, and to be mailed a pre-registration package once the details are finalized.
